The Agriculture Development Bank Limited (ADBL) also known as Krishi Bikas Bank, Head Office, Human Resources Management Department has published a notice inviting applications from eligible candidates to fill the vacant staff positions through an open and inclusive competitive examination. The information publication date is 19th Jestha 2080.

As per the agreement received from the Public Service Commission on 16th Jestha 2080, the bank will be filling the vacant positions through open and inclusive competition. Online application forms are invited from Nepali citizens who meet the prescribed qualifications. After filling out the application form, candidates are required to pay the examination fee using ADBL Mobile Banking, Connect IPS, E-Sewa, or Khalti Digital Wallet. This opportunity provides individuals with a chance to join Krishi Bikash Bank and contribute to the development of the agricultural sector in Nepal. Interested and eligible candidates are encouraged to apply online before the specified deadline.

It is important to note that applications not meeting the required minimum educational qualifications, exceeding the age limit, failing to submit the examination fee within the prescribed period, or not adhering to any other prescribed guidelines will not be considered. Candidates currently employed in the Nepal Government or Nepal Government-owned organizations need to obtain departmental approval from their respective organizations while submitting their applications.

(a) Senior Branch Head:

  • Grade/Level: 9/Officer/Administration
  • Educational Qualification: Master’s Degree in Economics, Law, Management, or Information Technology from a recognized university with first class and “A” from Nepal Rastra Bank.
  • Experience: Minimum 7 years of work experience in an officer-level position in a licensed bank or financial institution.

(b) Head of Branch:

  • Grade/Level: 8/Officer/Administration
  • Educational Qualification: First-class Master’s degree in Economics, Law, Management, or Information Technology from a recognized university, with at least 4 years of work experience in an officer-level position in a licensed bank or financial institution of “A” category from Nepal Rastra Bank.

(c) Senior Accounts Officer (CA):

  • Grade/Level: 7/Officer/Administration
  • Educational Qualification: Chartered Accountancy (CA) or ACCA degree and graduation from a recognized university.

(d) Senior Engineer (IT):

  • Grade/Level: 7/Officer/Technical
  • Educational Qualification: Master’s degree in IT/Computer/Network/Hardware/Software/Electronics and Communication Engineering from a recognized university.

(e) Business Officer:

  • Grade/Level: 6/Officer/Administration
  • Educational Qualification: Graduation from a recognized university with economics as the main subject from the business, commerce, management, or humanities faculty.

(f) Management Information System (MIS) Officer:

  • Grade/Level: 6/Officer/Administration
  • Educational Qualification: Master’s degree in computer or information system as the main subject in the management faculty from a recognized university.

(g) Law Officer:

  • Grade/Level: 6/Officer/Administration
  • Educational Qualification: Graduation from a recognized university in the Faculty of Law and an advocate certificate from the relevant body.

(h) Engineer IT:

  • Grade/Level: 6/Officer/Technical
  • Educational Qualification: Graduate level in IT/Computer/Network/Hardware/Software/Electronics and Communication Engineering from a recognized university and registered with and certified by the Nepal Engineering Council.

(i) Loan Officer:

  • Grade/Level: 6/Officer/Technical
  • Educational Qualification: Master’s Degree in Agriculture, Forestry, or Animal Husbandry Faculty from a recognized university.

(j) Business Assistant:

  • Grade/Level: 5/Assistant/Administration
  • Educational Qualification: Graduation from a recognized university with economics as the main subject in the management, commerce, or business faculty or humanities, along with at least 3 months of basic computer training.

(k) Loan Assistant:

  • Grade/Level: 5/Assistant/Technical
  • Educational Qualification: Graduation from a recognized university in the Faculty of Agriculture Science.

(l) Clerk:

  • Grade/Level: 4/Assistant/Administration
  • Educational Qualification: Proficiency Certificate or 10+2 passed in Management Faculty or Humanities Faculty from a recognized university or examination board or institution, along with at least 3 months of basic computer training.

Note: For educational qualifications obtained from recognized institutions using the CGP system, a minimum grade of D is required in each subject. Degrees obtained from abroad will be evaluated as determined by Tribhuvan University.

Candidates applying for each advertisement are required to pay an examination fee. For assistant-level positions (Level 4 and Level 5) on the open side, the fee is Rs. 800/-. In addition, for each group on the inclusive side and authorized level positions (Level 6, Level 7, Level 8, and Level 9), an additional fee of Rs. 400/- is applicable. Candidates applying for one inclusive group only need to submit the prescribed fee for the open side.
