To make electricity generation, transmission, distribution or trade simple, regular, systematic and transparent, to maintain balance in demand and supply of electricity, to regulate electricity tariff, to protect rights and interests of electricity consumers, to make electricity market competitive and to make electricity service reliable, accessible, quality and Realizing the need for an independent and regulatory body to make it safe, the Government of Nepal, under the Electricity Regulatory Commission Act, 2074 and the Electricity Regulatory Commission Rules, 2075, decided the Government of Nepal, Council of Ministers on 2076/01/23.
As per the agreement of the Public Service Commission, the following vacant posts in this Commission are to be filled up through open and inclusive competitive examination for permanent posts.
Applications are invited from Nepali citizens who have fulfilled the eligibility criteria as per the Electricity Regulatory Commission Staff Administration Regulations, 2081. Candidates who have fulfilled the prescribed eligibility criteria are requested to apply through the Commission’s website www.erc.gov.np.
The application form should be filled through the online application system and the prescribed fee should be deposited in the Commission’s Current Account No. 00401010000498 at Global IME Bank Ltd., Gyaneshwor Branch and the voucher should be uploaded. The written examination will be conducted by the Public Service Commission.
